On 5 and 6 November 2026, the 66th European Commodities Exchange (ECE) brings around 4,000 professionals from the grain and animal feed industry from all over Europe to Rotterdam Ahoy.
After a day of trading, meetings and networking on the exchange floor, Gastrobar Hartig is the place to unwind with your team, colleagues or industry partners. We serve shared dining in the heart of Rotterdam, right next to Witte de Withstraat.
The ECE lasts only two days, and with around 4,000 grain and feed professionals in town, restaurants in the city centre fill up quickly. Book now to be sure of a table for your team, for example on the evening you are not at the gala dinner in the Laurenskerk.

Instead of everyone ordering their own plate, we serve a selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes to share at the table. It is an easy and social way to dine with a group, without complicated ordering after a long day at the exchange.
A varied selection of dishes is served across the table, including meat, fish and vegetarian options. Dietary requirements and allergies are taken into account when you let us know in advance. Drinks are simply ordered during the evening, so your group is not tied to a fixed drinks package.

Take metro line D or E from station Zuidplein, right next to Ahoy, towards Rotterdam Centraal and get off at Beurs, five stops away (about 10 minutes). From there it is about a 5-minute walk to Hartig. Prefer a taxi? The ride from Ahoy to Hartmansstraat takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

Yes, and we recommend booking ahead because ECE evenings are busy. Smaller groups can book online, for groups of more than ten guests please call or email us.
Yes. Vegetarian dishes are always part of the menu, and we take allergies and other dietary requirements into account when you let us know in advance.
